Don’t be an idiot in a CrossFit gym.
Too many jackasses trot into the gym and believe they can start CrossFit at a firebreather level. And they won’t take instruction or advice. You know the type, they have it all figured out. Friggin idiots. These ding-dongs are the people who give CrossFit a bad name because they get hurt, stop doing WODs, and say CrossFit isn’t what they’re looking for.
If you’re an asshole, stay away from me.
Don’t pester other CrossFit athletes about the weights their lifting, pulling, or swinging. Don’t brag about how much you can bench press either, we don’t give a shit.
We CrossFit to push ourselves; not to impress bystanders. And we keep it that way. When we start a WOD we’re after one thing, and that’s performing the movements safely and pushing past where we thought we would ever be.
When someone is going for a squat clean personal record (PR), don’t tell them how much you can squat clean, just cheer them on, and show them you believe in them. Be part of their success, that’s it.
