Hi! Happy new year to you too! I came across your website whilst looking up the Paleo Diet. I’m contemplating doing a month Paleo as a New year resolution and would love some advice! I am a new Crossfitter (6wks) and currently have worked myself up to going 5days a week. I am totally obsessed with Crossfit since I have seen incredible results in the short time I have been going. Hence, I am interested in trying the Paleo diet which I have heard quite a bit about. I already consider myself quite a healthy eater (vegies, fruit, fish, nuts, dried fruit, chicken breast, decaf coffee and yogurt being basically what I eat everyday) and have definitely lost significant inches since I started Crossfit. I am suffering from information overload since I have read ALOT (maybe too much) about the Paleo Diet online. Eating Paleo will be a bit more complicated since I only eat Kosher. Alot of the wild meats etc aren’t Kosher but I am prepared to try and make this work! So my questions to you are. 1) Which book do I buy? 2) Do you recommend switching straight or gradually changing? 3) Will the books explain HOW MUCH to eat? I have no idea how much food I am supposed to be eating in general and it is driving me crazy. I am capable of eating up to 8 fruits a day, 1/2c nuts a day, no kidding. Thanks for your awesome blog! I can see through your articles that you are really passionate about this. Keep up the great work! Thanks, Naomi
